About the Hotel
Royal Palm Galapagos, Curio Collection Hotel by Hilton is nestled within a 190-hectare private estate in the lush Miconia highland forests of Santa Cruz, showcasing the unique ecological beauty of the Galapagos. The property features naturally occurring lava tunnels, remnants of ancient volcanic eruptions that shaped the archipelago. An airport shuttle service enhances convenience for guests traveling to and from the airport.
Rooms
Every room is equipped with distinctive medieval-style locks and original keys, emphasizing the hotel's unique aesthetic. Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is one of the original hotels with beautifully appointed, historic rooms, although they are in serious need of renovation. The rooms were large and airy, ideal for groups of 6-8 people, but inconveniently far from the good restaurant. The service was extremely generous and helpful, with staff who made us feel special and were very attentive. The location, while green and nice with gorgeous views, was a bit far from popular areas, taking 20-30 minutes to reach significant spots. The dining options were limited, particularly for a hotel of this class, and the facilities need upkeep after lunch.
The hotel is nestled in a historic setting with beautifully appointed rooms, offering incredible views just a lovely walk away from the main area, providing spectacular starlit nights. However, it is a bit far from popular attractions if you enjoy exploring the local area.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, allowing us to enjoy the stunning night sky. However, they were a bit distant from the main dining area, requiring us to use umbrellas. The sun room with a hot tub was a real treat.
The hotel offers spacious and perfect rooms but needs replacement and renovation. The service is incredibly generous and helpful, yet a bit behind their policies. The location is unusually beautiful and fun to explore, with lush greenery. The dining experience was poor with limited selection. The facilities are well-maintained with great potential.
